Industrial automation
Industrial Automation Learning Kit
A PLC is a microprocessor-based specialised computer that handles control functions across a wide range of complexity. Its job is to monitor critical process variables and adjust operations accordingly.
The operator draws a ladder diagram on screen with a mouse and keyboard. The diagram is translated to machine code and runs as a program. In an automated system, the PLC is the heart of the control loop.
The PLC continuously reads the state of the system through field input devices (sensors, switches) and decides, based on the program logic, what to send to the field output devices (relays, valves, motors).
This kit covers PLC, industrial automation, and pneumatic-circuit teaching from beginner up to advanced level.
